Terms and Conditions

All imagery remains my property unless said otherwise in the contract.

  • Pricing

I like to make it as easy as possible for you to know how much it will cost to meet your brief - this is why I offer package prices wherever possible and will always provide a detailed estimate in advance.

A full day is classed as 8 hours working and half days are 4 hours. If a day or half day is booked and the shoot runs over, then 30% of the of the rate will be charged for every additional hour required.

  • Post Production

If you have any of your own footage that you want to be put into your film then consider my Premium Editing Package. Typically 2 hours of footage will take 13 hours of editing for a premium look.

The Standard Post Production Package uses in-house editing facilities - I charge half the rate for this. This is perfect for those working to a slightly tighter budget.

  • Equipment Damage & Liability Insurance

I hold public liability insurance with an indemnity limit of £5,000,000. This covers third-party claims. These claims can be for injury or damage that you may have directly or indirectly caused to another person or their property.

The insurance certificate can be sent with a quotation if you require.

Deposit & Payments

To secure a date and confirm a booking, I require a 10-20% deposit to be paid in advance. This varies on the type of shoot.
Balances for filming will be issued immediately after the shoot and are to be paid within 7 days of invoice. The same applies to post production/editing!

A late payment fee of 5% applies to all transactions unless by prior agreement.

  • Expenses & Additional Costs

Mileage expenses within the UK will be charged at 25p per mile.

  • Confidentiality

All enquiries will be dealt with in complete confidence and a confidentiality agreement can be signed if required.

I am extremely proud of the work I do and would love to show it off. Because of this I do reserve the right to use any of the footage gathered for my own promotional activities. If this is not okay then please make this clear when making your booking.

  • Postponements & Cancellations

Naturally our work is affected by the ever changing weather. If the shoot can not be achieved because of the weather then I will try our best to re-schedule the filming for another day, this shall be discussed with "you", the client.

If however you no longer require our services then the deposit will be non-refundable. If I have incurred any other costs in relation to your shoot then these costs will be invoiced within our standard terms.
In the event of this happening I would kindly like you to tell us why you have made that decision.
